[focused on] families | rural beauty.

todays feature comes from raye law photography - a delightful family session with some gorgeous scenery.

STORY:

I photographed this family in 4 different locations - a bonus about being in rural Arkansas is that I don't have to shoot just at one location during a session.
The momma is also a photographer and I connected with her two boys who are of similar ages as my own. Photographing photographers seems to be a trend for me. Photo-mommas usually do not get to be on that side of the lens very often. So, when they do commission me, I take it as the utmost compliment.
Viewers can see the entire gallery on my website www.rayelawphotography.com (under portfolio, then featured).

  1. Being one of those photographers who have had Raye photograph me with my baby boy, I can tell you that the images she took are one of my most prized possessions. She has a talent like no other and a heart of gold. I feel so lucky to have had her capture our sweet family.

  3. Oh I'm thrilled to see Raye's beautiful work with our family featured. It was such a joy to be with her. She immediately connected with our boys and not only were the images from the session magical, we had a sweet laughter filled evening as a family and made some precious memories together.

  4. I also love photographing photographers. Their sessions seem way more thought out and they "get it". Not that photographing non photographers is a bad thing... but photographing photographers is so much more fun!

  9. Love these portraits! I was wondering if she used a Lensababy lens for the black and white portrait, I have been interested in purchasing this lens and wanted to know what she thought about it if she did use one.
